Sign Made by CR+A Custom, a Gathering Point in Tribute to Healthcare Professionals

A sign made by CR+A Custom served as the gathering point for healthcare professionals who were honored with flyovers to thank them for their efforts in the fight against COVID-19.

Health workers of Moreno Valley gathered last Thursday at about 2:00 p.m. outside a medical center around the sign that reads “Heroes Work Here.”

A C-17 Globemaster III and a KC-135 Stratotanker from March Air Reserve Base soared above the cheering crowd of workers that waved and, in some cases, shed tears.

“It’s very emotional,” said a health worker to Fox 11 Los Angeles. “It’s been a long journey. Our team has been through a lot. Our nurses, doctors, front-line staff have been working so hard and it just feels good that they’re getting to be recognized today.”

The “Heroes Work Here” sign honors all healthcare workers fighting on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic. The sign depicts doctors and nurses, but also cooks, engineers, janitors, and supply management teams.

All those professionals gathered around the sign and responded with enthusiasm at the sight of the planes.

“I’m proud. I’m proud to be a healthcare worker,” said a nurse seconds after the flyover.

Front-line professionals everywhere are an inspiration for the rest of us, and CR+A Custom is proud to support them and celebrate their work.
