End To End Expertise: From Design to Fabrication to Installation

CR&A Custom began the project by cutting individual letter components from 2-inch-thick sign foam using its CNC routing equipment, including a Colex CNC cutter. Each letter was fabricated from multiple foam layers that were stacked together to achieve the final 30-inch depth.
To ensure structural stability, internal support beams were incorporated throughout the installation. A layer of clear acrylic was strategically integrated into the center of the structure, providing additional reinforcement and allowing the upper portions of the letters to remain securely supported while maintaining a clean, seamless appearance.
Once the dimensional letters were assembled, CR&A Custom’s fabrication team meticulously patched and filled the foam surfaces to eliminate texture inconsistencies and create a smooth finish. The entire fabrication process took approximately one month from production to completion. Every stage required close attention to detail, from CNC cutting and assembly to finishing and quality control.
